Marriage Amendment: Still Alive
In case you've been wondering what ever happened to the Defense of Marriage Amendment that President Bush promised us when he was running for re-election, there's news. The proposed amendment this week squeaked through a subcommittee of the Senate Judiciary Committee by a 5-4 vote, and will next appear before the full committee.
