Musing on the Rage
As we approach the witching hour of the presidential primaries the wide and eclectic support of Congressman Ron Paul remains resilient. Much of that resolve, however, is turning into outright anger as it appears Dr. Paul is being excluded from the important fourth quarter debates.
This weekend's debates in New Hampshire will feature a narrowed roster of presidential hopefuls that will likely not include Congressman Paul. The two networks covering the debates--Fox and ABC--do have reasons for their exclusion of a candidate: they "must meet at least one of three benchmarks: place first through fourth in Iowa, poll 5 percent or higher in one of the last four major New Hampshire surveys, or poll 5 percent or higher in one of the last four major national surveys."
For Paul's supporters, they rely upon the unprecedented success of the Texas congressman's fundraising and extensive internet support--no candidate on either side can equal the phenomenon that is Ron Paul Dot Com. The implication is clear: shouldn't the MSM adjust their requirements for debate based upon a clear approval of the people? If so many Americans support Ron Paul, shouldn't he have an opportunity to continue to make his case? Especially since what he proffers is contrary to the mainstream of existing Republican candidates. Aren't the other Republican hopefuls virtually the same?
There is not a doubt in mind that the possible exclusion of Ron Paul could be intentional. Since when have any of us believed that if you ate your Wheaties you too could grow up to be president? The 2004 election came to two men (Bush & Kerry) that were a) distant cousins, and b) members of the America's most elite secret society, Skull and Bones. What's interesting about that are the odds: only 800+ Bonesman are alive at any one time, and only 15 are tapped each year for membership. So, out of a U.S. population of 300 million, the last election came down to two members of the same elite fraternity. No, little Johnny, you can't grow up to be president. The game is rigged.
Consider also that for 28 years America has had a member of two families in the White House: Bush and Clinton (Reagan/Bush; Bush/Quayle; Clinton/Gore; Bush/Cheney). If Hillary wins in 2008--and secures two-terms--it would be a Bush/Clinton reign for 36 years. Happenstance, you say? M-m-m-m-aybe!
Ask yourself the following question: has any important U.S. policy changed in the last 28 years? Has government gotten smaller? Has the cost of living improved? Have abortions ceased? Has the U.S. Constitution been more under threat? Has inflation increased?
There you have it. If nothing genuinely changes, then what does it matter which political party secures the Oval Office? Bush promised no nation-building, yet he's done that in spades. In other words, regardless of what any candidate promises, the march of the state will continue. The fact that a candidate is wearing a red tie and a cross on his lapel, or a blue tie and a compassionate tear in his or her eye, the supposed "choice" in candidates is an illusion. Therefore, it is vital to the integrity of our political process that the MSM highlights those candidates that represent something contrary to the norm. But this cannot happen, since the MSM is now consolidated in the fewest corporate hands in the history of media.
Am I depressed? Hardly. Rather, I rejoice. The more the representatives of freedom and national sovereignty are oppressed, the greater their movements grow. I've never witnessed such a rapid awakening in a population as I have since Ron Paul entered the presidential race. And despite the fact that neoconservative pundits dismiss him as a "crackpot," it only galvanizes Paul's base and further reinforces the conspiracy theory about the fact that the Establishment's so called two-party system is a farce. Granted, both sides want power, but in the end, they are the same. It's like the five mafia families of New York City: they will kill each other for power and profit, but they will NEVER reveal that either side is a part of organized crime. They will fight one another, but they will NEVER reveal "la cosa nostra," "our thing."
So, I hope the rage continues--the seething frustration of freedom lovers who will realize they are involved in something much greater than a presidential election. The battle is long-term, and the primary weapon is education. The enemy is a well-entrenched Establishment of international financiers, corporate alliances, military traitors, social darwinists, scientific planners, and ardent globalists committed to statism whether it be the incrementalism towards a one-world superstate, or a century of American world dominance. Either way, they are all anti-Christian, anti-family, and anti-American.
King David once wrote, "I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred. My heart was hot within me, WHILE I WAS MUSING THE FIRE BURNED: then spake I with my tongue. (Ps. 39:1-3)" A huge portion of America--and other parts of the world as well--are musing on the plain injustice of our time; and as they do, the fire burns. Therefore, I believe the musing must continue. To overturn the last 100+ years of rising tyranny in America requires much more than the present support of Congressman Paul. It's the ideas he represents that must find a home in all of our hearts, and to embed those requires a great deal of musing. And that musing must be imposed by the increase of injustice.
Deo Volente.
